CBD oil/capsules/etc: my encounter with a CBD bidness employee -

I was in line at a Harris Teeter today and overheard a self-described employee of a CBP oil distribution warehouse packer/shipper discussing her career with another employee in the adjacent line.

I've wondered about the validity of CBD in recent years that have led to its acceptance, legalization and marketing. As an enthusiastic consumer of the real herb at Tech (mid to late 1960s) in all but my freshman year, and then somewhat regularly in the next 14 years I lived in the 'burg until I moved to CLT in 1984 (when I quit), I'm skeptical of the healing attributes hype of CBD products because I intuitively posit it's just folks wanting to get a buzz or forge a path to marijuana legalization and all the other dope nouveau yadayada is just blather. NTTAWWT.

Anyway, this millennial flower child in the next checkout aisle claimed - out loud - that "our brains" have two CBD "receptors" that have gone woefully ignored until CBD oil products were introduced so now our brains are more attuned to CBD products, and "as we all know, marijuana kills cancer cells."

Interestingly, some other shoppers rolled their eyes and shook their heads in disbelief, while more shoppers nodded in agreement. Small sample survey.
